This work has meticulously been reconstructed from fragments  found in the same spot. What it represents has been revealed in a dream by one of the archeologists. "This is were people lived their virtual lives: in microchips which themselves were connected with transformers, condensers, air conditioners, smokestacks, helicopter pads, ... All that macro- and micro-electronic stuff, gathered around data centres (see Cat. Nr. 173),  had eventually replaced the old cities of real people. The new cities continued polluting the air and the water and changing the climate undisturbed, because their virtual inhabitants did not care about all this - why should they, being virtual? The climate, in turn, did not care for the people, whether virtual or real. Raising sea levels and increased storms became the norm. Higher waves rolled over much of the continent and left everything broken when they eventually withdrew."
