This work refers to an explosive growth of the Earth's population after humans became immortal (see Cat- Nr. 170). Without the limitation by Death, this explosion would have occurred in any case through natural production. But the work, and possibly also Cat. Nr. 74, allude to the fact that reproduction of humans had become something industrial.
